What is ScryWoW?
ScryWoW is a free, fan-made website and in-game add-on for World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard's permanent version of the original Azeroth with new quests, zones, the Skyborne race and quality-of-life updates. It answers the questions every player has while leveling: what should I do next, which quests are worth my time, what gear do I want and where do I go?

The add-on: your plan, in game
The ScryWoW add-on reads the plan you made on the website and helps right where you play. It works alongside the game's own windows instead of replacing them, so Azeroth still feels like Azeroth.
Create a character to get the add-on- Quest value badges: Top 8% next to quests in your log, and a warning when a quest is too low level to be worth it.
- Top XP and Top Gear tabs on the quest tracker, for your zone or any zone, with a TomTom arrow when you click.
- Map pins for your trainers, class vendors and dungeon quests; quest markers coloured by value.
- Item ratings in tooltips: great, good or not for your spec, plus off-spec picks.
- Mob matchups: a small + or − on your target and a tip for tough fights.
- Threat bars on the game's damage meter so you can see who's holding aggro.
- Turn-in XP preview on the XP bar, rested XP made clear.
- Quality of life: favorite players, 3-day chat history and search, item locks, auction house advice, and a minimap button.

How do I install the add-on?
Create your character, open Game Menu → Add-on on the website and download the zip. Unzip the ForeverCompanion folder into your WoW Forever Interface/AddOns folder and restart the game. You can also paste your plan in game under Options → AddOns → ScryWoW.
When does World of Warcraft: Forever launch?
Blizzard announced a launch on November 4, 2026, with the beta running September 17 to October 21, 2026. Check Blizzard's official news for any changes.
Which class should I play in WoW Forever?
It depends on your role and focus. See the WoW Forever race & class tier list, or use the interactive Race & Class Picker and the character editor let you choose tank, healer or DPS and a focus (solo leveling, dungeons, raiding, PvP or farming), then star the best spec for it, including the new Skyborne race.
Is ScryWoW made by Blizzard?
No. It's an unofficial fan project and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
