# ScryWoW

> ScryWoW (https://scrywow.com) is a free, fan-made leveling companion website and in-game add-on for World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard's permanent version of the original Azeroth (announced at BlizzCon 2026; beta September 17 to October 21, 2026; launch announced for November 4, 2026). It is unofficial and not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.

Players create a character (race, class, spec, role: tank/healer/DPS, focus: solo leveling, dungeons, raiding, PvP or farming) and get a personal plan. The ScryWoW add-on brings that plan into the game while keeping the Classic feel.

- Character planner with best-spec star for your role and focus, plus off-spec
- Leveling styles: Speed (best XP per minute), Scenic (the most fun and memorable quests, chains, dungeons, zones and hidden places by community consensus, no XP numbers) and Low traffic
- In-game settings: every switch of the in-game add-on in one Interface Options style window on the website, set ahead of time and sent to the game with Export to game; Scenic mode also hides the XP talk in game
- Leveling timeline 1-60 with zones to prioritize or skip
- Best quests ranked by XP per minute against quests of the same level; iconic quest chains; escort quests
- Best-in-slot gear, stat priority (leveling and level 60), gear competition by class
- Professions, gold making, camping perks, auction house tips
- Race and class picker including the Skyborne; group builder; beta and launch calendar
- Mob matchups by zone and class

## In-game add-on features
- Quest value badges ("Top 8%") and "Inefficient" warnings for quests too low for your level
- Top XP and Top Gear tabs on the quest tracker, per zone, dungeon or all zones; TomTom arrow on click
- World map pins for trainers, class vendors and dungeon quests; quest markers coloured by value
- Item ratings in tooltips (great/good/not for your spec), off-spec hints
- Mob matchup icon on the target frame and tactic tips in creature tooltips
- Threat bars on the game's built-in damage meter
- Turn-in XP preview and rested XP marks on the XP bar
- Favorite players with roles, chat history and search, item locks, auction house advice, minimap button
